Fifteen years after the destruction of the USS Equinox (approximate star date 2393) Captain Rudy Ransom, who was beamed from his doomed ship by the Krotownans, is held prisoner in the Delta Quadrant for crimes against the race including trespassing in Krowtownan space and the deaths of Krowtownan starship crew members. Captain Ransom has very few choices but one chance to return to the Alpha Quadrant some 30,000 light years away.

Net als bij Star Trek Renegades wordt deze pilot ook gepresenteerd aan CBS als een potentiële nieuwe Star Trek serie...initiatief genoeg.

Ik ben heel benieuwd of één van de twee producties het begin is van een nieuwe Star Trek serie.

Mooi al die initiatieven, maar CBS is niet geïnteresseerd in een tv serie geïnspireerd door een fan film. Als er al een nieuwe tv serie komt, zal dit niet in de prime universum zijn, maar in de JJ Abrams universum. Ik geniet van enkele fan films (new voyages, phase 2) en zie ze voor wat ze zijn: fan films.

Op een ander forum las ik dat deze pilot een direct to DVD variant is. De acteurs krijgen er iets voor betaald. Daarnaast hebben ze (Equinox) al contact gehad met CBS en CBS heeft aangegeven de pilot te bekijken en het in overweging te nemen.

Alle hoop is nog niet verloren.
