New Deep Space Nine fanclub

Yes, your eyes aren?t cheating you: after 7 seasons of Star Trek Deep Space Nine broadcasted around the world, the line simply had to be drawn. This series more than deserved an international fanclub! That is why 14 Deep Space Nine fans joined forces and founded the first international Deep Space Nine fanclub in August 2001. The fanclub with its website at www.ds9fanclub.com is not only founded by fans, it is the place where all DS9-fans can come to if they want to share things with other fans. And of course, since we?re not Quark, it is absolutely free of charge.

So what exactly are the goals of the website? It should become th? place on the internet where DS9-fans from all over the world can discuss everything on DS9 where DS9-fans go to if they want any information on DS9 where everybody can find uptodate news covering the series, conventions, broadcasting info and games

The most important thing to achieve these goals, is your support as a DS9-fan. Without the support from fans all over the world, we would never be able to accomplish them. Also very important is the website, because this site provides the foundation, which allows all DS9-fans to help build a big fanclub. To give you an idea about the website and its contents, a short description about the main parts is given below. Main Page At the main page, you will always find the latest news covering the series, games, interviews with actors etc. Of course, if you would like to add news or articles yourself, that is possible too! A poll in which your opinion on various topics is asked, is also present at the main page, as are the links to the following sections: Encyclopedia The Encyclopedia contains a lot of data on the serie itself, the characters, and the planets in the Alpha Quadrant. Every entry in this encyclopedia does not only give you a description of the entry itself, but also provides links to relevant other entries. So once you enter the encyclopedia, you can jump from one relevant entry to another to another? In the near future, this encyclopedia will even contain specific and relevant pictures in every entry. Episode Guide This part of the website is still under construction. It already contains a list of all the episodes, but will soon be extended with reviews made by you, the fans. Forum At the website?s forum, everybody can discuss every topic they can come up with regarding DS9. If you want to discuss how old founders can become, just post it. Or if you are more interested in the distance between Bajor and DS9, discuss that at the website?s forum. And you can be part of it? This line is correct.
