Star Trek Uniforms

The Original Series

Duty uniform from the first two episodes, "The Cage," and "Where No Man Has Gone Before." Duty uniform seen in most episodes. A stylish wraparound variation worn by Captain Kirk. A dress uniform. A variation of the wraparound worn by Captain Kirk. Dr. McCoy's medical tunic.

Star Trek I: The Motion Picture

Standard duty uniform. Utility jumpsuit. A short-sleeve fatigue variant. Admiral's uniform worn by Kirk. A long-sleeve fatigue. Field jacket.

Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Kahn

Standard duty uniform. A duty uniform without the jacket. Cadet jumpuit. Field jacket. Uniforms used by the landing party on Nimbus III (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier). A bomber jacket.

The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine & Voyager

Standard uniform used in TNG's first and second seasons. It was then used by extra's in the third season. Uniform used from the fourth season, to the present. Men's uniform used by main characters, from the third season of TNG, to the present. Dress uniform used from TNG's first season, up to the present. An admiral's uniform from the first season of TNG. A jumpsuit introduced on Deep Space Nine. Currently in use aboard U.S.S. Voyager. This uniform did not replace the uniforms from The Next Generation, but seems to have been used alongside it, as seen in Generations. Officer's on Earth still use the Next Generation uniform.

Star Trek VIII: First Contact

This is the latest uniform issued by Starfleet. It was first seen in First Contact, and then in the Deep Space Nine episode "Rapture." The reason Deep Space Nine started using this new uniform more than a month after First Contact is because of production timing. This means that First Contact took place after "Rapture." Admiral's uniforms haven't been modified, and some officers still use the Next Generation uniform. Duty uniform, officers vest variant
