The Utopia organization has announced their fifth guest for the upcoming Utopia convention. The fifth guest is Robin Curtis who played lieutenant Saavik in Star Trek: The Search for Spock. |

About a week ago Robert Beltran (Chakotay on Voyager) announed that he wouldn't be able to attend the Utopia IV convention. The Utopia organisation said they would look for another Star Trek actor to replace him, and they did. Garett Wang (Ensign Harry Kim on Voyager) will be joining Utopia IV this year to fill up the gap. |

The next fanclubday of the Flying Dutch is going to be on Saturday, August 23th. The fanclubday will be held from 13:00 until midnight in 'De Griffioen' in Amstelveen. |
The Utopia organisation has informed us that Robert Beltran will not be attending the Utopia IV convention. Beltran was offered the role in a play which will run until December. As you can imagine, having a real job is more important than attending a convention. Beltran did promise to attend next year's Utopia V convention, but under reservation.
The Utopia organisation is now arranging one or more replacement Star Trek guests.

The organization of the Dutch Sci-Fi convention Utopia has announced their third guest: Lolita Fatjo. Fatjo has worked as a script coordinator on The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager and on Star Trek: Generations and Star Trek: First Contact. |

Last Sunday the previous Flying Dutch convention was held in Schiedam and now the next The Flying convention has been announced. Saturday August 23, the 'Food-Con' will be organized in Amstelveen. Theme of this convention is food and because of this theme the convention is opened from 13:00 until midnight. |

The second Utopia guest is Chase Masterson who plays the dabo girl Leeta on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Later on in the series Leeta married the Ferengi Rom and the Leeta character's importance grew. |

Today, Utopia announced that Robert Beltran is going to be one of the guests at Utopia IV. Robert Beltran plays Commander Chakotay in Star Trek: Voyager. Many requests from fans to have him as a guest were the main reason to invite Robert to the Netherlands.

The next fanclubday of the Flying Dutch is going to be on Saturday, May 18th. The fanclubday will be held from 12:00 untill 18:00 o'clock in the Novotel Hotel in Schiedam.
