Voyager back on Ned2

After a pause of three weeks, the AVRO is broadcasting Voyager again next Monday. Since the World Cup soccer is covered on Netherlands 2, Star Trek was postponed to make room for the football coverage.

The next matches aren't being played on Mondays anymore so the regular broadcasts of Star Trek Voyager will return. Monday June 24th the episode Workforce, Part I will be shown on Netherlands 2 from 20:30 o'clock until 21:20 o'clock.

No Voyager (Ned2) and DS9 (RTL5)

You might have noticed some changes in the Star Trek TV Guide for next week. As a lot of you wrote me, in several Dutch television there is mention of Deep Space Nine which is being broadcasted Saturday and Sunday on RTL5. Unfortunately Holland Media Group told us this is not the case. DS9 is not returning to RTL5.

Yesterday, Friday 31th , the World Championship soccer started in South Korea and Japan. Since Netherlands 2, the home of Star Trek Voyager, is the channel which will cover this event, Star Trek Voyager will not be broadcasted for at least the next two weeks.

The AVRO's missing episode

Last week, the AVRO did not broadcast Star Trek: Voyager because of the assasination of Pim Fortuyn. The AVRO planned to broadcast that Voyager episode 'Repentance' a week later. As you could see for yourself, yesterday the AVRO did not broadcast 'Repentance' but broadcasted the next episode 'Prophecy'.

When asked what went wrong, the AVRO told us that they in fact where planning to broadcast 'Repentance' yesterday, but because of some miscommunication within the organization of the AVRO 'Prophecy' was broadcasted.
